Not only do you get the benefit of a coach with expert guidance, a support system to get you taking action towards your goals, you also get a community of kickass people who are, or have been in the same boat! Not only can you learn from others in the group, others can learn from you! We all have something to offer!
A great way to search for and get to know coaches is social media! It gives you the opportunity to see what they’re all about, including their business and getting a feel for their overall ‘vibe’. Most people are scrolling at some point during their day anyways, so tagging in a search for a business coach or whatever type of coach you need while you’re doing so is easy!
My take on expensive hobbies? PLAN for them! If you have a hobby that is super important to you and you understand what the REAL cost is, BUDGET for it. Golf for example, is not just monthly or yearly dues coming from your account. You have to purchase clubs, tees, clothing, meals/snacks, and probably a few drinks during or after each round you play.
Even if all the signs from your childhood point to the adults in your life having a positive mindset, that does not immediately translate into you having one as well. There is so much more that contributes to your mindset, we all have so many experiences with money beyond our childhood memories.
Basically I am here to tell you I am NOT Dave Ramsey. If he is the reason you have been putting off making a plan for your money, stop that shit!! Don’t let Dave’s very narrow beliefs and rigid rules put you off from making a plan to get on top of your money!
