This is a great way to start getting a visual of where your money is going. When you have a clear picture of where all of your money is going, it will be easier to make adjustments where necessary so you can stop saying YES to so many hours! Or better yet, build a plan to escape the job you hate!
My personal experience with shift work; I was an unhappy B-I-T-C-H to be around. I couldn’t sleep when I needed to, I was too stressed about what would happen next at work, and when I was tired, I would sleep my entire day away! Some weeks I felt like I never saw my family! It had me on a rollercoaster of mood swings ALL the time!
Work and money come hand in hand, but quite often I find it is not the money or lack of it that is making people unhappy. If you got paid more money at your current J-O-B do you think it would make you happier? I’m sure it would momentarily but the excitement would disappear quite quickly!
Allowing these fears to stop you from taking action means nothing will change. Is this really what you want for yourself? Do you want to be in the same spot you are now in 6 months? 1 year? 5 years? If you said, “Hell no!” It is time to take ACTION!
Today I am going to be more blunt than usual. NOT investing in yourself is costing you TIME and MONEY! There is always room to grow somewhere, and holding off on investing in yourself in areas like coaching, education, your HEALTH, even time AWAY is holding you and your business back.
Instagram? Facebook? Tiktok? Don’t spread yourself too thin by trying to be on ALL of the social media platforms. It’s about being where you can be consistent. If you love Instagram and hate Facebook, plan to post regularly on Instagram.
