10 Things YOU Can Do Now to Start 2024 Financially Strong

I sent this out last week to my email list and got lots of great feedback, so I’m adding it here so it finds you too. ♥️

With 2024 coming in hot, there is still time to make some big shifts with your money before it gets here.

I'm going to drop a list of 10 things you can do to start 2024 financially stronger! Scratch a few of them off the list, or go for a clean sweep if you are able to!

Let’s get into it! 🤑🤑🤑

  1. Set One 2024 Financial Goal: What's one thing you want to achieve financially next year? Write it down, make it specific, and put it somewhere you will see it often!

  2. Automate $20 to Savings: Log into your online banking and set up an automatic transfer of $20 to your savings account for each payday.

  3. Credit Report Check-In: Use a free credit report service like Credit Karma or Borrowell to check for discrepancies.

  4. Cancel One Subscription: Identify one subscription you can live without and cancel it.

  5. Negotiate a Bill: Contact one service provider and negotiate a better rate. Call or check to see if you can use FB messenger to communicate.

  6. Sell One Item Online: Snap a pic, write a brief description, list an item you no longer need online, and when you sell it, use the money for a financial goal.

  7. Draft a 2024 Budget: If you don't have a budget, start one, if you have one, look ahead to any major expenses for the year ahead.

  8. Emergency Fund Check-in: Don't have one, use the $ from selling something to start it. If you have one, check what the current balance is.

  9. Read One Finance Article in 10 Minutes: Educate yourself on a financial topic of interest. It's a small investment in your financial literacy. I've got lots on my blog that can help.

  10. Book a meeting with me: I've got a few spots open before the end of the year, and I'm offering something new, open 45-minute sessions to ask any financial questions you have!
